Blogmas Day(s)14&15:Christmas, Christmas!

Hey ya’ll. So I obviously missed the blogmas post yesterday, oops. But I went with my “twin” Lauren and her mom and my mom to see a performance of Handel’s Messiah. It was completely beautimous especially the cello (duh) and the tenor soloist. They had the most gorgeous organ and the balance was perfect. AAAhhh and the song Hallelujah was AMAZING!!! Okay sorry, Orch dork here…..

Plus I LOVE spending time with Laur she’s da bomb.com (Shoutout to Sunny ๐Ÿ˜‰ Today I slept in through my first class since my mom didn’t want to risk an accident because of the terrible weather. Which means……..

SNOW!!!!!!!

And lots of it! It’s gorgeous! And after school Ryann came over and we just hung out and watched Christmas Hallmark movies. I really missed hanging out with her, so it was great! Ooh and speaking of Ryann, today in Spanish we “wrote letters” to Santa Claus for an assignment and she asked him to make me not sick. SHE ASKED HIM TO HELP ME! It was the cutest thing ever, and honestly made my entire year. I love you, Ry ๐Ÿ™‚

Okay since I have zero ideas for Blogmas right now, I think I’ll look up a Christmas questionnaire and just answer the questions on here!

  1. What is weather like in your area during Christmas?ย

-Cold. Very, very, very cold. And overcast, and covered in the amazing gorgeousness that is SNOW! The frozen, wonderful goodness is everywhere at ze moment! ๐Ÿ˜€

2. Egg nog or hot chocolate?

-Ugggh this one is pretty hard, I love egg nog. But, probably hot chocolate.

3. Do you hang mistletoe?

-Not at my house, nope. Thank goodness.

4. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)

-Prime rib with sour cream and au jus sauce, but I call it achoo sauce XD

5. Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve?

-We go to my grandma’s house and open the gifts from our aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. And then we get to open our new pajamas to wear that night.

6. Real tree or fake tree?

-We had a fake tree until about three years ago, but now we go cut one down (This year we picked one from a tree lot) so definitely REAL. They smell soooo good.

7. What is your favorite tradition?

-This is a really hard one. But I love that my parents set up a scavenger hunt for my brother and I to find out larger presents on Christmas.

8. Favorite Christmas Movie?

-Hmmm, I have three. The Polar Express, Home Alone, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

9. Do you have a Christmas Morning Tradition?

-My brother and I wake up super early to scope out the presents and then we sneak some sugar cookies upstairs to watch Christmas movies or cartoons until my parents wake up. And we always open our stockings first.

10. Do you celebrate religiously?

-Yes, yes I do. Although my beliefs are a little different than the general idea of Christmas. You can find it on another postย here.

Feel free to answer any of these questions below, I’d love to hear the answers!

Love ya’ll and Merry Christmas Eve^9
