The Apps I Use In A Day!

Hey y’all! So a few weeks ago I took a screenshot of every app that I used in a day, and I’m going to show them to you now 🙂 

The first “app” I use is just my text messages. The top four usually don’t change seeing as they’re my best friends (even my mom).

The next app I use is Google Hangouts. I’ve been talking to a fellow blogger, Gioia a TON recently and she’s great. Check out her blog here! I’ve also had a lot of fun getting to know all the other people I will be collabing with on the Artistics.

Snapchat has been one of my favorite apps lately since Laur and I love to have weird face contests. This is actually my personal snapchat, but if you want to see my blog snapchat, the username is akatheauthor.

Then for debate I had to open up my teacher’s website 🙂

Then for seminary we were reading in Jeremiah, (I have now finished the Old Testament, wooh!)

Also for seminary, we were talking about the 10 Commandments and so I was making sure I knew all of them on our church’s website lds.org.

And then of course I had to open WordPress to read all your amazing posts 🙂

This is a coloring app I picked up, and I’ve now finished a bunch of drawings. It’s a really fun game to have on the go!

After school I always talk to Sam O.Bscure and then I have a group chat with Fibit and Colby.

The last “app” I used was just the normal phone thing to call people obviously XD

I don’t know what to say to you. To the point that I get angry. And now I don’t want to talk to anyone.

My Ferret Went Missing?!

Wow guys it’s almost been a week. I apologize, but this week has been crazy. Some stuff happened that I won’t really talk about, but yeah.

Anyways, I asked what you guys wanted to know about me and a lot of you said that you wanted to hear about the time my ferret went missing while we were camping.

( I can tell this story in Spanish btw)

So a few years back we were camping in Bear Lake and we had taken my ferret Sniffers.
On the day we were leaving to go back home, I told my little brother to watch Sniffers while I cleaned his cage.

Apparently he didn’t hear me because when I was done, Sniffers was gone. We searched everywhere and I started freaking out since the campground we go to is next to a huge road and then a field of cows.

The people who own the camp got out some squeaky toys and drove their golf cart around looking for him.

My dad went to look in the fields and he still has poky’s ( like sharp weeds) in his shoes today.

After we searched the entire place and couldn’t find him anywhere I made my dad promise that if we didn’t find Sniffers I could get another ferret. And then my parents decided to check our trailer one more time.

They tore it all apart and finally found him… in the middle of my parents mattress… asleep.

What Do You Want To Know About Me?

Hey y’all!  I had a lot of fun at Lauren’s birthday party yesterday. I was playing football (American football) Monkey in the middle style, and while I was rushing Ryann I not only got grass stains on my pants, but also punched her thigh. Which is basically steel, and I can barely move 2 of my fingers now… OH! And I’m going to say thank you on their behalf, for all of the birthday wishes they got yesterday!

Now onto the post,

So below I am going to list different situations that have happened in my life, and in the comments you guys will vote for which story you want to hear!

To Them

Hey y’all!

This is a quick announcement to tell my amazing friends Ryann and Lauren HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Because not only are they my only friends that read my blog, but also because they are some of the most amazing people I know.

Tonight is Laurens party and I was supposed to go hang out with her early but it doesn’t look like it’ll work out so I’m bummed quite a bit. Oh well, as long as she’s happy.

Ryann is having her party next week so there will be an update on both parties sometime soon.

I’m so glad I met these girls, they’ve helped me through so so much. I hit wanted to make sure they knew how much I love and appreciate them.

My (Epic?) Weekend

Hey  y’all! So today is Mother’s Day, and I just wanted to say how grateful I am for my own mother. She is the kindest, sweetest, person I know who will do anything for our family. And even strangers for that matter. I was having a hard time today after getting some advice/news last night so she came in to cheer me up. And I was being the usual uncooperative brat I am and told her that I didn’t care if she loved me or not. She just proceeded to tickle me, laughing about how she doesn’t get to do it anymore. And then kissed me on the cheek and told me too bad, because she was always going to love me anyway. She’s the greatest.

Speaking of great people, this Friday was my AP European History test and it was LONG. 6 HOURS long. And by the end of it I was exhausted, but 3 fantastic people picked me up for our plans! My mom (again), my best friend Lauren, and her mom. We went and got pedicures (I got this really cool copper color with a black flower), ate dinner at Applebees, and saw Captain America Civil War. I had TONS of fun.

Then on Saturday I went to my brothers basketball game, Bex’s birthday party (we got in the hot tub and it felt GREAT), and then went to my dad’s cousin’s wedding reception. There we talked to one of his relatives, who is SO SO kind. She has fibromyalgia and was talking to my parents about my pain and symptoms and it sounds like that’s what I have. We’d already talked to a neurologist who said that it might be a possibility so the next step would be going to see rheumatologist.

I’ve kind of been in a bad mood ever since because there isn’t a cure for it, and there hasn’t been much research done. I guess I’ll be doing a lot of that from now on. Apparently my parents have been too.

ALSO something sort of exciting, I start training for Little Red officially this week! If you don’t know, Little Red is the all women’s bike race I do that raises money for breast and ovarian cancer. It’s sooo much fun and I was so proud of myself for riding 100 miles last year. I can’t wait to see what this year brings. Wish me luck!

My Baggage

There’s an ache in my chest and a sick hunger in my stomach.

I don’t know why they come when they do, but I have plenty of reasons for them to stay.

When it feels like it belongs ,why should it ever want to leave?

If my story makes strangers cry, how am I supposed to smile?

And sometimes I like to feel sad. To sit in my sorrow and feel justified in self pity.

And then I want to tell, and I try… but whenever I try to explain what it feels like you want to hear sentences and I’ve got pages.

I’ve got enough baggage to vacation in every country on Earth.

And my extra weight isn’t your fee to pay, you’ve already heavied your bag with my tear stained sweaters and ripped sole shoes.

I walk barefoot now, over the rough concrete using your arm to hold myself up.

But eventually, my story will become too long. And I’ll have chapters to write, but seconds to breathe. And your arm will become heavy and we’ll both….
